TAKE ACTION! Orcas need a thriving habitat, not a new container terminal

Please speak out against the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 to protect endangered orcas, Chinook salmon and the unique Fraser River estuary. These species can’t speak for themselves!

The project to build this new container terminal presents an unacceptable threat to the ecosystem. It will:

    • Compromise the estuary habitat of British Columbia’s most important salmon river. Its salmon nourish orcas, spectacular forests and the life within them, including bears, birds and people.
    • Further erode southern resident orcas’ legally defined critical habitat and contribute to underwater noise.
    • Negatively affect the Fraser River estuary that provides vital resources for the entire marine ecosystem and supports environmental functions throughout the Northern Hemisphere.

Tell Canada to stand against Terminal 2

Federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change Jonathan Wilkinson and his fellow cabinet ministers can protect these species by taking a stand against Terminal 2. Send a letter to encourage them to make the right decision.
